The village of the stoned fishermen

from HDK 63 † The land where nothing is as it seems by DUNJON MAGIK

/

lyrics

You come to an isolated, sloppy fishermens village. The inhabitants are poor and unkempt. They have a strange and hallucinatory behavior: they laugh all the time and say strange things. They all eat purple-colored dry bread all the time. From the delirium of a fisherman you learn that that bread is made with ground flour in a nearby mill. In this mill, a huge and grim man actually makes the village bread with some strange purple flour. You discover that a secret trap door gives to the lair of some giant purple worms which is located just below the mill. Man makes flour by grinding dried corpses of purple worms ... which evidently have narcotic properties.
