"Arid" speaks in fact about the hottest and most inhospitable deserts on earth: the temperature changes, but the result is always... the absence of life. DOOM CATACOMB has decided to tell about those places where nature is cruel, where the signs of humanity are erased without mercy.

Musically, this DOOM CATACOMB album is more innovative than ever: the dungeon-synth of the origins meets musical influences ranging from techno-trance to kraut-rock, from neo-folk to drone minimalism. My favorite out of the three I believe.The sound is more aggressive and fits the cover art of what looks like a perilous journey for the protagonist. Fits well at being the second in the trilogy of albums. Every song is good and the cassette tape and package is of good quality. A Great buy that deserves a vinyl edition. Joshua Laleina
