about

A welcome return to the HDK catalogue: the intrepid ASTARIUM, hailing from the frozen lands of the Far East! The author of the now classic "Into the Dragons Domain" (HDK94), this time offers us a tribute album to "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien, who we have all read and loved since we were children.

We are sure that you will enjoy this dive into the past, accompanied by the notes of ASTARIUM's music. How to define the sound of ASTARIUM? Fantasy prog? Mazurka synth? Power polka? Dungeon pop? It doesn't matter: what matters is that we love his music and think it is unique and original!

O==[==============>

For us children of the Cold War era, "The Hobbit" was not only a novel, but also a strange "text adventure" style video game for the ZX Spectrum 48k. Released in 1983, the Melbourne House game fascinated thousands of players around the world with its innovative - for the time, certainly! - features and its evocative graphics. In the booklet included in the cassette we will also tell you the details of this story...
