The gate of the Baring mines
led to a monumental hallway
dug with craftmanship in the bare rock

Two rows of mighty marble columns marked the tombs of the kings
that centuries ago led the civilization of
the dwarves of Huk to their splendour

We felt a deep sense of respect
for what we saw in the light of our torches
while we were moving forward watchful with weapons in our hand

When we saw a room at the end of the corridor
the presence of lit torches and noises
made us understand that we were not alone

conduceva a un monumentale corridoio
scavato con sapienza nella nuda roccia

Due file di possenti colonne di marmo scandivano le tombe dei re
che secoli fa avevano condotto allo splendore
la florida civiltà dei nani di Huk

Provammo un profondo senso di rispetto
per ciò che vedevamo alla luce delle nostre torce
mentre avanzavamo guardinghi, armi in pugno

Quando avvistammo una sala in fondo al corridoio
la presenza di torce accese e rumori
ci fece capire di non essere soli
