SURPRISED BY WANDERING MONSTERS

Left the horses at the inn,
we walk by foot in the morning sunshine
on the narrow path that climbs
into the forest along a stream

Suddenly... an ambush!
We are hit by slingshot bullets
A group of lizard men armed with spears come out from the trees

Viktor and Bloodwyn immediately close the ranks
supporting the impact with the humanoid reptiles.
The clash is fierce, they are fast and strong
but soon we gain advantage

The first lizard man is killed
by Garandir with a precise saber blow
the others fall under Viktor's sword,
Sarohma's mace and Bloodwyn's axe.

We are lightly wounded, but we're fine.
Fir, searching among the corpses, finds
a bizarre knife with a white curved blade.

He hesitates, then he takes it
and hangs it on his belt

SORPRESI DAI MOSTRI ERRANTI

Lasciati i cavalli alla locanda,
marciamo a piedi nel sole del mattino
sullo stretto sentiero che si inerpica nella foresta
costeggiando un torrente

Improvvisamente...un imboscata!
Veniamo colpiti da proiettili di fionda
Un gruppo di uomini lucertola irrompe armato di lance

Viktor e Bloodwyn serrano immediatamente le fila
reggendo l'urto del corpo a corpo con i rettili umanoidi.
Lo scontro è feroce, sono rapidi e forti
ma presto acquisiamo vantaggio

Il primo uomo lucertola viene abbattuto
da Garandir con un preciso fendente di sciabola
gli altri cadono rantolando sotto la spada di Viktor,
la mazza di Saroma e l'ascia di Bloodwyn.

Riportiamo qualche ferita, ma stiamo bene.
Rovistando tra i cadaveri, Fir ritrova
un bizzarro coltello dalla lama ricurva.

Dopo un attimo di esitazione, lo raccoglie
e se lo appende alla cintura

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks.
