Seb I'm still pretty fresh to this label -and genre- but this one caught my ear immediately and I've found no equal to it after a good amount of researches. This is serious stuff, not your goofy dungeon synth or your sweet night lullaby. No.
It is bleak, drowned in lead, filled with visions of a world at the constant edge of collapse, and frozen in pure darkness.

So come, look beyond that black rainbow. Favorite track: The terrible Isle of Naat.

The bard of the unexplicable nightmares is back: DOOM CATACOMB gives us his masterpiece, the third and final chapter of a trilogy dedicated to the writer Clark Ashton Smith, started in 2018 with "Empire of the necromancers" and continued in 2019 with "The weaver in the vault".

"Necromancy in Naat" takes the music of DOOM CATACOMB to even darker and more mysterious levels, it will accompany you on a hallucinating journey into pain and evil, but it will also convey the romantic and decadent inspiration of the homonymous story by C.A. Smith.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks.
