"The secret of Sowlaend prosperity, clad in cold mountains and infested swamps, had always laid in the Well of Tranquillity, whose water gave fertility to the fields, healed the sick, gave vigour to the strong. The Well itself is a mystery, neither arcane mages nor divine sages have been able to understand its nature. But since weeks it is running dry, and a strange plague is spreading through the land, enfeebling men and killing the cattle...".

Very relaxing,it evokes a fantasy land... like a distant and ethereal vision of an old elven town lost in the ancient, misty woods... I am not familiar with Ursula K. Le Guin yet but makes me want to check it out! Roquemaure
