about

"They departed on a space mission. During a repair intervention, probably due to an error in the re-entry procedure, Lissa loses her partner in space. Lissa, devastated by guilt, managed to return, but since then her nights are populated by terrible nightmares: she dreams of wanders in a deserted space base with endless corridors, pursued by an unknown threat. Then, suddenly, some signals from space suggest that the lost astronaut... is still alive! No one knows how and where. The nightmares turn into telepathic connections....

Just a person can help Lissa: he's Prof. Volkoff, a former Russian astronaut who escaped from the USSR and eretic intergalactic travel theorist who enjoys a very bad reputation in the scientific community. So Lissa goes to the Volkoff's mansion and there she discover that the real nightmare... has yet to begin".

This album is a strange interference in the HDK catalog, music that comes from the trashbin of an outdated technological era. It's something that has to do with the era of space explorations, when the early video games reflected the obsession that everyone had for space; an era when a lot of people sought illusory freedom in unknown universes and when the real threats took the form of monstrous fantasies.

This album is inspired by the J.G.Ballard's tales and his astronauts traumatized by intergalactic journeys, lost in their inner-space.
