about

"The void holds constellations of its own,
eclipsing lesser legends we arrange
in shining pebbles. Shadowy & strange,
they stretch their silhouettes like raptors flown
from rifted light. What’s not is all they are,
& even that invisible to eyes
corrupted by the toxic blare of skies
too wise for night, or wearied by the stars.

Small wonder that those few who see—or saw—
these negative enigmas seldom map
their shapes for strangers. Ancient ways prevail
when recognizing epics in the raw,
or navigating eddies of perhaps
along this river. This dark-winding trail."

We already met Steven Grace with his crepuscular electronic soft-rock album entitled "Eleventh Hour" (HDK 119), now let's get to know him in his most traditionally “kosmische” guise called LOGIC GATE.

Wandering through the desolate lands of the net, under the label of "electronic music", we casually came across Steven's music thanks to the his Logic Gate albums. Our first reaction was: how is it possible that such sweet music is relegated to such a dark and invisible corner of the world wide web?

We are sure the masters of German Kosmic Musik would have thought the same when listening to Logic Gate's albums, because they are among the best tributes ever produced to the immortal sound of Tangerine Dream of the 70s. The geometric perfection and refined taste of Steven's compositions delight our ears.

We hope with this anthology tape of Logic Gate's music to help bring joy to many more ears around the world!
